Your privacy is very important to us, which is why we have gathered in this document all the information you need to know about how your data is processed and handled. The terms agreed in this policy relate to the processing of personal data and comply with applicable Brazilian data protection legislation, especially Law No. 13,709/2018 – the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”).

We at TCIA – Inteligência em Logística are committed to preserving your privacy. The purpose of this document is to clarify what information is collected from users of our website (tcia.com.br) – and related services – and how that data is handled and used.
How we collect your data
We may collect your data through the TCIA – Inteligência em Logística website.
Information is collected in the following ways:
- Information provided by you (contact form) – We collect personally identifiable information – such as name, phone number, email, and company where you work – via the contact form on the website.
- Contact history – If you send an email to our company or contact us through another channel providing your data, we will store the information provided, as well as the full history of contacts made. The goal is to personalize service and keep records of your interactions with our company.
- Events – If you registered for an event organized or supported by TCIA – Inteligência em Logística, we may collect your data.
About cookies
Cookies are files stored by the browser while you browse the Internet. They may be used to share data about your activities on our companies’ websites, such as access language, device used to access, and other information about your access to our websites.
However, we do not use cookies to know, for example, how many times you returned to our site, which pages you accessed, how long you stayed, among other information.
Although, the purpose of using cookies is to store data about our users’ experience on our sites and, based on that data, improve the browsing experience.
What data is collected
Through forms and events
Contact data: We may collect information such as name, phone number, email, and company where you work.
Company information: We may collect information about the company where the user works, such as name, website, number of employees, industry sector, among others.
Who may access your data
Only TCIA employees may see your personal information. Occasionally, if your information is provided in actions created in partnerships, the explicitly identified partners will also have access to the information. No personal information may be disclosed publicly under any circumstances.
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística also undertakes not to sell, rent, or pass on your information to third parties. The only exception is in cases where such information is required by judicial order.
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística employees may also occasionally contact you by phone for scheduling and performing services.
How we protect your data
All personal information relating to customers or visitors who use our website will be handled in accordance with the General Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709 of August 14, 2018.
At any time you may verify which of your data appears in our records. To do so, simply send an email to dpo@tcia.com.br. If you prefer, you may also request that your data be deleted and/or changed by making the request through the same contact channel.
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística protects the confidentiality and security of your information through software hosted on its own system servers.
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística undertakes to adopt all technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, mitigating, but not absolutely preventing, risks related to data breaches; accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, or alteration of such confidential information.
The user declares awareness and agrees that the security measures adopted serve to mitigate risks; however, it is not possible to fully prevent invasions by third parties (hackers). Thus, once TCIA – Inteligência em Logística has demonstrated that it adopted all achievable measures to ensure data protection, such a case will be configured as force majeure, pursuant to Article 393 of the Brazilian Civil Code.
About third-party data
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística does not share data with any partner and does not use such data to send promotions, content, or other actions.
The storage and processing policy for such data is the sole responsibility of the contracted systems.
User rights
You may choose not to receive any further emails from TCIA – Inteligência em Logística. Submitting any form again will constitute reinsertion of your email into the list.
Therefore, the cancellation request must be made again if that is your wish. In addition, users also have:
- The right to request changes to registered data.
- The right to know which data is being stored.
- The right to receive an explanation of how their data is processed.
- The right to withdraw consent regarding this privacy policy at any time.
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística shall correct, complete, delete, and/or block data received through the relationship with the CLIENT, if so requested by the data subject, at any time.
In that case, TCIA undertakes to notify the user in advance and immediately of such request, following the precepts of Law No. 13,709/2018 – the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”). TCIA – Inteligência em Logística will notify the user within 72 (seventy-two) hours of (a) any order from a Court, public authority, or competent data protection regulator; (b) any accidental or unauthorized access; and (c) any request received directly from third parties claiming to be data subjects, and TCIA – Inteligência em Logística shall not respond directly to that request before prior communication and authorization from the user.
If TCIA cannot fulfill its obligations related to data processing, whether due to potential nonconformity, technical problems, or a user request, TCIA – Inteligência em Logística will inform the user of such impediment within a reasonable time, and TCIA may suspend the transfer of data and/or terminate this policy without penalty to either of the Parties, if the contracted object fails due to impossibility of performance by TCIA by reason of regulatory prohibition.
How long is data stored?
TCIA – Inteligência em Logística will store your data for a minimum period of one year, when not otherwise defined by law.
At any time the user may request removal of their stored data by emailing dpo@tcia.com.br.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated. Accordingly, we recommend that you visit this page periodically so that you are aware of any changes.
Before using information for purposes other than those defined in this Privacy Policy, we will request your authorization.
